"Thank you for your gracious hospitality! Everything was perfect...comfortable room, delicious breakfast, learning about wolves and Bozeman, and the wonderful company."

-C.L. - San Diego, CA - Dec 2008

Summertime at Howlers is a season not to be missed. Our mild temperatures and seasonal rains give us a pastoral setting not expected for the region. Trophy fly-fishing, hiking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, kayaking, and mountain biking are some popular local pastimes. The North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park is just over an hour away. Ghost Towns, the Lewis & Clark Caverns, and the breathtaking Beartooth Highway make terrific day trips. Howlers is also just one and a half miles to National Forest access where you can mountain bike, hike, or fish along Jackson Creek. Some guests choose just to relax on one our outdoor decks. We are happy to have you stick around during the day and will do what we can to make your stay as relaxing as possible.

We have several links below that will guide you to whatever suits your tastes.

There are several horseback riding outfitters in the Paradise Valley and Gallatin Canyon areas.

If you are up for a wet and wild adventure, try some whitewater rafting. The early summer has fast moving water on the larger rivers, and the late summer has very technical rafting as the water level drops and exposes obstacles. Montana Whitewater

While our wolves are truly the main attraction for coming to Howlers Inn, there is a lot of other wildlife to see in the area. A guided wildlife tour or trip may be just the thing for you. The Wild Side
